Camp Grant was originally called Fort Breckenridge but got torn down to stay out of Confederate hands. It kept grting rebuilt, but it kept getting torn down or flooded.  They later relocated and renamed the fort Camp Grant in honor of General Ulysses Simpson Grant.      
    Also a group of Americans, Mexicans and Tohono O'odham Indians Brutally murdered 150 women and children in their sleep. To continue, another group of Indians raided a farm and left with 19 cattle heads. A posse was sent out to find the group and found a straggling Indian and killed him. 3 white settlers were also killed.
